WOMEN OF DESTINY

About "Women of Destiny" (WOD)

The vision and purpose of the “Women of Destiny” (WOD) Fellowship, simply put, is to reach out to Christian women from all walks of life, backgrounds, and races to spiritually strengthen, encourage, and inspire each other as we fulfill our destiny and God's calling in our lives. And, we hope to introduce other women to Jesus Christ in the process.

Many women are seeking fellowship —but that which is true fellowship, natural bonding, a spiritual connection, and genuine friendships in which they feel comfortable sharing with others who may be experiencing some of the same issues, concerns, or struggles they are facing. This thriving campus ministry exists to meet such needs.

“Women of Destiny” (WOD) might be best described as an outreach support group for today's Christian woman, but all women are welcomed. The target audience is Emmanuel College female students and the church community of women overall. Meetings are held monthly, generally the 3rd or 4th Saturday of each month, from 12 noon- 2 p.m. WOD is supported by the Emmanuel College Outreach and Campus Life Ministries, as well as Alpha Omega Ministries.
